Like our adult tweed gilets, this Little Darzi in Coral red is made from naturally durable, 100% Shetland wool and is fully lined with super soft fleece to keep out the cold. Classic features include a trademark Nehru collar, contrasting outer pockets and an inner top pocket, perfect for hiding a few sweets when required.

Our Little Darzi collection of unisex gilets consists of four size options, ranging from very small (1-2 yrs) up to age 7-8 yrs.

Like adults, children come in all shapes and sizes and furthermore, they don't tend to stay the same size for very long! We understand that finding the right size can therefore be a challenge, particularly when faced with a limited size range. In order to ensure the most appropriate fit, we recommend selecting one size up relative to their age. With any luck they will then spend more time growing into their Darzi gilet long before they have to hand it down to the next lucky recipient.
Pure wool has been used to make clothing for thousands of years and for good reason. Naturally it is thermally insulating, water and odour resistant, extremely hard wearing, breathable and biodegradable; a unique combination of characteristics which make it the perfect choice for high quality, sustainably sourced outerwear. Moreover, thanks to these natural characteristics, abrasive washing treatments are generally unnecessary.
For day to day care, store on a hanger where possible. If well used, or even a little abused, simply hanging out in cool, fresh air for a short time is often all that is needed to bring a wool garment back to its original shape and form.
In the case of light soiling and small mishaps, always try spot cleaning with a brush or a damp cloth in the first instance. In the case of major mishaps, we recommend dry cleaning as a last resort.
DO NOT tumble dry.
