The Alderney Linen Waistcoat - Navy

The Alderney linen waistcoat is the culmination of our efforts to find the perfect answer to mid-season and late summer layering.

Quarter lined and cut from a unique 400g/sm top grade Belgian linen, it has a soft but rugged and reassuringly weighty feel to it. This ensures that it holds its shape better than lighter weight linens and the natural temperature regulating properties of the fabric (linen is made from the Flax plant which has a hollow fibre) make it the perfect accompaniment for warm summer days and cooler evenings alike. 

This versatile Navy edition with charcoal brown contrasting pocket trims and Nehru collar piping is a Darzi classic - understated, timeless and sartorially suitable for all occasions.

Linen Gilets

Given the natural fabric and fibres inherent within all of our products a light touch approach is recommended when it comes to care and cleaning. This is especially the case with linen given its naturally occurring anti-bacterial qualities.

For day to day care, placing your gilet on a hanger when not in use will help to maintain its shape. A warm iron may be used to remove creases if preferred.

For small stains and minor mishaps, a gentle brush or spot clean with a damp cloth should be the first port of call. Alternatively we suggest dry cleaning as a last resort. DO NOT tumble dry.

UK orders over £100 qualify for free standard delivery. Express next-day delivery is available for UK orders placed before 1pm (charges apply).

UK returns can be initiated within 30 days of receipt. Exchanges are free of charge, including return postage and delivery of your replacement item. For refunds, a £3.50 return postage charge applies.

International returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Return shipping costs are payable by the customer and exchanges are not currently available for international orders.
